I am convinced based on history, recent past actions and present actions that the Republican agenda is most definitely to free the wealthy from restrictions on their pathological greed and quest to dominate all that exists for their own pleasure and to allow the most vulnerable in our society to become destitute and basically slaves for their pleasure.
I am beginning to believe that many in our government are only putting on a show for those of us who are watching. A political reality show of sorts. Any compromise with the tax increase on the most wealthy and any more compromise on Social Security, Disability, Medicare or Medicaid must be met with absolute resistance on the part of the 99% of us who are, will or may need these benefits in the future.
Occupy Wall Street made it known that there was 1% of US citizens who have annual incomes of $250,000 and more who may never need the above benefits. However, THERE ARE 99% of US CITIZENS WHO WILL need these benefits at sometime in their lifetime. The problem is, those making and influencing the decisions about OUR BENEFITS are NOT COMMON MEN and WOMEN, NOT the 99% but THE 1%.
AM I the ONLY ONE who has noticed this? Surely, I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE! WE the 99% MUST STAND UP! During the Civil Rights Movement of the 60's, THE COMMON MAN, THE COMMON CITIZEN, THE LESS THAN 99% stood up and were heard in spite of the 1% and more who opposed the Civil Rights Laws. Why? Our Government Of THE PEOPLE, THE 99%, BY THE PEOPLE, THE COMMON CITIZEN, AND FOR THE PEOPLE, THE 99%, THE COMMON CITIZEN! CANNOT RESIST OUR UNITED VOICE! STAND UP! RISE UP and BE HEARD! OR BE ENSLAVED by the 1%!
